Picaso: Nite Boss City. Four words that sum up who this man/artist is. He is a hustler in earnest, a creature of the night who fearlessly moves through the city—his city, Baltimore, Maryland. Picaso--a man smooth enough to handle his business in the streets and in the sheets in the most thorough way. He’s that dude who will infiltrate the clubs with his music—dropping lyrics like prime grade weight laced with only the finest beats. The product has your head bobbing and your heart racing and just as you’re preparing for the ‘cool down’, the next track on Picaso’s Nite Boss City sneaks through. You think you’ve reached your climax when “Get It In” chases everything even deeper into your system…
This talented wordsmith was first heard in the streets of Baltimore on mixtapes as a featured artist. He is the epitome of life imitating art because he lives the life portrayed in his music. Picaso connects with his audience where they are most comfortable—in the clubs and in the streets. They like him because to a great extent he is them. The content of his lyrics and the authenticity of his character have afforded him Carte Blanche access to many of the movers and shakers in the industry.

As his career gained momentum he began doing club dates across the country, developing a strong fan base in South Beach. Mention of his skills on the mic quickly spread and Picaso started receiving invitations to open for major artists As a fiery performer on stage who had an equally charismatic personality off stage, Picaso was a natural fit into that lifestyle. That lifestyle was an extension of Navadio, a term coined by Picaso to express his movement throughout life and the name of his company Navadio International. These opportunities gave Picaso exposure to key industry professionals and as a result, MCS Entertainment’s Matthew Schilowitz offered him a deal. Shortly after signing with MCS, Picaso’s track “Pimpin’” was placed as the lead song on the soundtrack for Ice T’s movie Pimpin’ 101. Currently Picaso is touring as the opening act for Tyrese/Black Ty’s Alter Ego Black Tour and promoting his upcoming solo debut, Nite Boss City, which includes guest appearances by Remy Ma and Kool G. Rap among others. |
